Depending on how many apps you use on a regular basis, you could be storing dozens - even hundreds - of cache and temporary files without realizing it, all incrementally slowing your Mac down.
The Temp folder has moved and I am not sure that the OS does not change the Temp folder over time. Here is how I am able to find the files in the Temp folder: 1. When running loopback, open an existing .doc file, make an edit, and save. Word 2016 creates a temp folder with a name of the form test.doc.sb-6d6ce842-tI5oYC , and this folder isn't removed until the document is closed in Word. It seems that this is a known issue when opening such files over an SMB share (https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/1946623-office-mac-2016-word-when-saving-creates-a-folder-file-docx-sb-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxx). This doesn't happen when opening a .doc file on the local HFS+ filesystem. Is there a way to prevent this behavior (to appear to Word more like HFS+ and not like an SMB mount)? I've tried using the '-o local' option but that doesn't help. Thanks! |

I am not using osxfuse, and I have the same issue. Here are some further threads on this topic. They have not solved the problem for me, but might help you debug. After focus 1 5 5 download free. |
